Runway For Research is a volunteer event falling under the umbrella of Tee Up For Tots, a Tucson based non-profit organization. Runway For Research is committed to raising money to help fund the childhood cancer cure. Our culture of compassion, respect, and integrity allows us to work closely with the medical, childhood cancer, and wider communities to help fund research into more effective treatments for children with cancer.

On November 15, 2009, Runway For Research teamed up with Tee Up For Tots once again to produce the third annual fashion show benefiting the pediatric cancer research unit of The Steele Children's Research Center.

The fashion show took place at the Hilton El Conquistador resort in Oro Valley to the north west of Tucson. We had 51 kids in the show between the ages of 2 and 18 who have, or have had, cancer and their siblings. Models wore designs from The Art Institute of Tucson and from local designers and our models got to keep their outfits at the end of the event. Each model graced the runway with a member of their medical team.

This event was completely sold out and we raised just under $8,000!    Thanks to everyone for supporting us :)

100% of the proceeds go directly to the pediatric cancer research unit of the Steele Children's Research Center at the U of A.
